Friday Flowers:Iris, Campanula, Poppies, Salvia

I don't water my flowers unless the plants are new or are looking sickly. We really need some rain! Thankfully the perennials are still looking good, but I need a jackhammer to get the weeds out.

Let the flowery madness begin!
Pool Garden: Siberian Iris 'Caesar's Brother'

Campanula Birch Hybrid

Dianthus 'Bath's Pink'

Bearded Iris 'Persian Berry' (maybe)

A few unknown Dianthus. To my surprise, I'm liking the dark pinks.

Oriental poppy 'Coral Reef' and Salvia 'Caradonna'

but the word of our God stands forever.” Isaiah 40:8

  1. Beautiful! Even the last shot. I always love when Main St is closed and I get to drive past your yard! :)

  2. My pastor often quotes that verse after he reads the Bible in worship on Sundays.

  3. Your gardens are gorgeous!! I pretty much stick to containers because of my extreme phobia of snakes...and we have lots of snakes in Nebraska. I don't care that they are "garter snakes" and not poisonous...they scare the doo-doo out of me!!! Visit me to see my pots at

    1. Thanks Jeanne :-) Good job finding a way to garden around your phobia!
